How can you know what’s happening with the CHS Band? If you’re new to the band, you’ll be amazed at how much happens at a rapid pace -- especially during marching and contest season. In addition to talking to your student, here are four excellent ways to be in the know:
1) ATTEND BOOSTER MEETINGS, each 3rd Monday of the month 7:00 p.m., in the Band Hall.
2) SIGN UP FOR EMAIL. Late-breaking information is sent via BoosterGrams. BoosterGrams are also published on this website. Freshman parents, you should receive an email from us before the end of June at the parent email address given by your student at Fish Camp. All other grades will soon hear from us as well.
3) CHECK THE WEBSITE FREQUENTLY. Check out the website regularly for news of the band’s achievements, latest information on marching contests, news, Bandsman of the Week, schedules, etc.
4) SHARE YOUR TALENTS. We are constantly in need of Volunteers to help out with everything from concessions to show preparation. Check with the Booster officers our the Volunteer section of this website.
